biography

Ingeborg Brüll was born in Innsbruck on 02/22/1926. Her father is from a Jewish family, the mother is Catholic. Secretly marry the parents according to Catholic ritual and Ingeborg is brought up Catholic. Her father shows in transactions not sure hand and goes with his fur business in bankruptcy. Finally, he works with his brother Rudolf howler, a furniture manufacturer, that decorating masterpiece in the workshop. Ingeborg grows along with her older cousin for a year Use. After the end of the war, she manages to leave Antwerp, Belgium, where her mother lives. She earns her living as a nanny. It is diagnosed as suffering from diabetes. She returns with her mother back to Innsbruck. Here she met her uncle, Rudolf howler again. He survived the Theresienstadt concentration camp and tries to get his furniture factory to return. He died in 1957 in Innsbruck. Ingeborg works as a nurse in the hotel industry and for many years for the Tyrolean provincial government. After her retirement, she discovered that, in the same building - has worked, where her father was interrogated in 1938 - the Construction Authority. The close interweaving of Christianity and Judaism in their family Ingeborg can become a mediator between religions. She is the initiator of the Association for Christian-Jewish Cooperation in Innsbruck.
